Zenver Yoga is located in the West Highland neighborhood at 3729 W. 32nd Ave, Denver, Co 80211.  We welcome all levels of experience and are here to support you in every step of your yoga journey, whether complete beginner or experienced yogi. We keep our studio warm, gently heated at a temperature right around 75 degrees. You can expect an element of meditation in each class, meditative music (no FM radio tunes here), and a true savasana experience complete with ambient music and dim lighting. Our mission is to offer a safe place to heal your body and a sacred place to connect to your truest self beyond the limitations of the mind.

Meet the owner, Ali. 

Ali is an international yoga and meditation teacher, a business owner, and social worker. As an undergraduate Psychology student in the early 2000's, she took a class called Zen Buddhism which changed the course of her life. That class sparked the hunt for self-realization and since then, she has explored various techniques to increase awareness and reduce suffering in her own life. Through the self-healing properties of meditation and yoga, her life transformed from depressive and anxiety-ridden to open-hearted and purposeful.

Ali has completed 500 hours of yoga teacher training with Yax Yoga Concepts, based in Virginia Beach. She moved to Denver in 2015 and opened Zenver Yoga shortly after. In her classes you’ll experience guided meditation, breathwork, meditative music, and intelligent sequencing focused on opening the myofascial lines of the body. With her affectionate personality, heartwarming approach, and soothing voice, you will feel right at home in one of her classes. 

Ali holds her Master's in Social Work degree, specializing in clinical health and wellness and is the owner of Zenver Yoga in Highlands Square. 

What to expect at Zenver Yoga:

  • We are a small, intimate studio and recommend signing up ahead of time for all classes as they may fill up. 
  • We recommend arriving at least 10 minutes before the start of class to get settled in the room.
  • Keep in mind we lock our doors 2 minutes after the start of class to ensure the safety of our students and teachers.
  • We recommend bringing your own mat, however if you forget yours, we have rental mats for $2. 

Tips & Etiquette:

  • We like to keep our studio calm and peaceful, so please maintain a quiet voice in the yoga room and leave your cellphones in your car or in the check-in space. 
  • It's recommended to practice yoga on an empty stomach, try not to eat anything two hours before class. If you are hungry before class, try eating fruit, avocado or anything that's light and easy to digest.
  • Drink plenty of water before and after class! Yoga postures detoxify the body and water helps flush those toxins out. 
  • Wear clothes you're comfortable moving (and potentially sweating in).
  • Please do not wear strong perfumes and it is actually recommended to shower before yoga. Saucha, one of the yoga sutras actually translates to "cleanliness". 
  • We also provide props like blocks, straps and blankets to make yoga truly accessible for any practitioner.
  • Let the instructor know about any injuries or special needs upon arriving so we can give you the tools you need to succeed. 
  • Your practice can be as easy or as hard as you'd like to make it, listen to your body, please modify when needed and back off if you feel any pain. We are here for you, let us know if you need advice, assistance or anything at all!
